Eight tools that all produce words, split by how much of the job they take. Rytr, Copy.ai and Jasper are assistants: you are still the writer, they make you faster, and Jasper's price only starts making sense once a brand voice matters to somebody other than you. TypingMind is not really in the same business, it is a better interface onto AI keys you already pay for, and it is the cheapest thing here by a distance for anyone comfortable with that. Outrank, SEOBot, Byword and Frase sit at the other end: they research, write and in some cases publish without you. That is the trade this category is actually about. Automated publishing buys back a day a week and costs you voice, and no amount of prompting fully fixes it. There is no editorial pick here. We are paid on the most obvious candidate, and whether to hand over your own writing is not a call worth making for somebody else on a commission.
